Hello to all, this is my first time posting. I have visted this site a few times and found it to be very informative and supportive. My problems are with my brake rotors and pads. I purchased the car in July 2003 and in September 2003, I had to have the front rotors machined! I was very concerned that I had to have the rotors addressed so quickly and expressed my concerns to the service guy. Especially when the service sheet indicated excessive run-out after only two months! He assured me that this was routine and not to worry. Well, I have now had to set up an appointment next Tuesday for a few other issues...including the rotors that are warped yet again at 24,000kms or about 13,000 miles! The brakes are also squeeking? I am wondering if anyone out there has found a TSB on pads and rotors here in Canada?

Also, for all who have an auto. EX-L and have experienced a constant rough idle problem...there now is a kit available here in Canada. It consists of new engine mounts and bushings. I am having this kit installed by the dealer next week. Any assistance regarding my brake problems would be greatly appreciated, as I believe that the rotors and pads should be replaced under warranty. I love my Accord but these issues are very annoying!

Welcome to the board. Honda has a definite problem with their brakes as you can see by my other posts. DO NOT let them tell you otherwise. They have replaced hundreds of sets!!!!

I've been checking my latest set of brakes (3rd set) and fronts are still OK and not warped after ~7500Km. Dial indicator shows <0.001". However rear brakes are rusting badly again, which is same problem as before. Sent photos to my dealer and he sent them onto Honda. Still waiting for a reply.

Thanks Real wing for your messages...they have been a real aid. I will definitely use some of your very helpful information to get the dealer to complete the proper work to my car. As I have said before, the car is a great car but these important problematic areas need to be addressed to ensure the enjoyment of this Honda product. Also, thank you to the other members that welcomed me to the board.

Those Dodges are some real nice Classics!
440 6pack....wow!! Do you fill up at an airport? I would think that this bird requires this type of fuel.

They dont need Av Gas, but do need premium plus octane booster!!
I'm currently restoring the Superbird. Seems like it takes a lot longer to put together than what it originaly took on the assembly line!
