Is there a way to turn on the interior lights while driving? I have tried turning the gauge lights all the way up, but that doesn't work (or I'm not going far enough).

There are times that I would like to be able to see my 2 yr old in the back, or give him a light to see whatever toy he is playing with at the time.

I know you can push a light, and it will come on, but reaching the ones in the back from the front? not quite... LOL

There should be the switch you use to turn the dome lights on, off, or on/off w/ the door. That switch will turn on both sets of lights.

I know I can do this w/ the TL...but I am not sure of the location for the Accord.

Interior light might not be the best thing for driving at night. The glare on the windows could cause blind spots for you. I know that truckers use red light on their interiors because it doesn't glare. Maybe you could try getting hold of a red LED somewhere? :dunno:

IIRC, the switch on the front only controls the map lights. the dome light for the rear has its own switch.

oh...so the Accord doesn't have maplights for the rear passengers that light up?

just a center light on the roof. the front gets the two individual map lights.

does arent hard to come by, but it would be easier if u just got some heat resistent Red transparent plastic (like they use on the driving gauge mods, or on spotlights for a performance stage), that way u can just open the cover and put it in there, and no worries of sautering in a new LED

There's a rear light dead center above the passenger seat but it can't be controlled from the front. :thumbsdow Except foor being set to operating with the doors, the front and rear lights operate independently. My A4 had a setting for the front driver to be able to turn on the rear lights regardless of how the rear was set (off-doors-on). Sounds like the TL is the same way.

EXs have the dome light in the back above the back seat passengers and LXs have the light in the center of the headliner (which is easier to reach and turn on) All models (except the DX/VP?) have the map lights. The interior lights can only be turned on individually without opening the doors. In my GM vehicles, all of the interior dome lights (including door panel lights, map lights, etc.) could all be turned on via the headlight switch.
