any one have problems with them. When I moved to ND I had to ship extra stuff, packed 2 myself and carried in a 13" tv/vcr combo. I paid for packing material and the guy packed it. I get the tv and the whole VCR is busted up and ciruitry broken. Its been 2 months and the owner of the store is giving me Sh$t about oh you packed the box yourself and insurance doesnt cover for insufficient packin. Yet my receipt shows that he packed the box and that I paid for the materials. Their customer service is worthless at the corporate level. There is more, but too much too type. I am sooo frustrated with them. why cant they just pay me the $100 that the tv is worth now and I would be happy. this is BS and I may boycot UPS/MBE

Contact your local Better Business Bureau after you have written a letter to the store owner. If the BBB says they have other complaints against the business then write your local newspaper & try the local TV stations. You're in the military & I imagine in that area, folks like their military personnel. They are where I live next to an arsenal. It could make for a good story that a local businessman is trying to take advantage of servicemen & women. His additude may change then.

We are doing are research first. We have also gone to our JAG office to see what they they and they drafted us up a "demand letter" and told us to send to all people involved with UPS stores. Gonna do that and see what happens, it not BBB and small claims court. I mean come on its only $100 they owe us.

On the back of the yellow paper they give you it has the statement that without insurance, they are still responsible for up to $100. So I don't understand why they're even arguing with you!

Yesterday we sent a return to Tiger Direct. We sent the exact same thing back 3 weeks ago. This time we were charged more. Looking at the receipt we saw they put "residential" instead of "business". Not a big deal, but shows how disorganized they can be! We also got someone else's receipt along with our's. I sure hope they don't need it!

Hopefully you'll get something from UPS to make up for the damage they caused soon! Maybe hearing from the JAG office will speed things up for you!

Thats exactly what I said, what is the purpose of insurance if they arent gonna pay it. They blamed improper packing. Those MOFOS packed the POS. I am steaming, this is the biggest bunch of BS

Well, if they packed the box & it was improperly packed then they can just pay twice, huh? They messed up twice: when they packed it & when they broke it!

We've had a few incoming things broken, but not outgoing. Luckily, the incoming were from businesses & we just had to send it back for a replacement. Maybe they had to fight with UPS, I don't know.

The longest one to get an unbroken item was logs for our gas fireplace. It took 5 shipments to get them here in one piece! Of course you can't use the fireplace with broken logs, so we had a new fireplace & couldn't use it for over 2 months! AND brainy us, we didn't unpack the logs until we were ready to use it....when it got cold. It had been installed in the Summer.:)

Sounds like when we bought our big screen TV. The geniuses somehow managed to break some chrome looking glass inside the TV so when they delivered it and opened up the box there was shiny glass/mirror all over the place. Three times I think, maybe more. Blah oh well they got it right eventually lol

UPS lost our business over a $110.00 cargo cover they claimed was damaged BEFORE we sent it out. I told them that I wanted recourse against Crawford, their insurance company, which I was promised, and I never got anywhere. So, along came FedEx, and they ended up getting our $10,000 a month shipping business, we stayed with them because of their superior service.

UPS must have thought their $110 claim was worth giving up six figures annually in business for.......

In our local office there's a REAL difference in service depending on which employee you deal with! I've sent out a bit more than usual this year & so far (keeping my fingers crossed) we haven't had a problem.

Aren't some managers brain damaged?? I'd think when they're dealing with another company they'd be extra cooperative!

The dealer where my prince is at has more incoming that outgoing with UPS. The out going is to the other local dealers & it's shuttled. Now the shuttle vans........ the "lot lizzards" are really hard on them!! One took the mirror right off a brand new car my daughter was using when she worked for another dealer! She was also on a parts run. She came out & the mirror was dangling!

JBhed, keep us posted! Good Luck!!

Sorry forgot to update, I finally got my check for $100 about 2 weeks ago. They sent all this crap saying it was still my fault and even sent me a copy of the receipt showing it was there fault and still blamed me. I dont care all that matters is that I got my money and will never ship UPS again.
