sorry to keep posting, apparently my car just keeps breaking. anyways my ignition switch has gotten stuck into thinking the key is still in there. so it beeps whenever i open my door. now what i would normally do is just tape the door sensor into the "closed" position, but ever since this happened my automatic seatbelt (f*** those things...) has been stuck in the open position (making it REALLY unsafe to drive). anyways i'm going to try spraying some WD-40 in there and see if that frees the mechanism, but i'd like to give it a real fix. so if anyone has some suggestions (or an exploded key assemby diagram) send 'em this way.

You may just be best off to get a new ignition switch (or one from a junkyard)
