Hey Im new to this forum. Im in the Navy stationed in Georgia. I have a 2001 Accord EX ULEV 4dr. I was wondering if anyone has every had new shocks put on and if so how much did it cost parts and labor ? I thing I need lower bushings because there cracking. Any help would be appreciated thanks! :)

If you want to get an idea on parts, I would check shox.com. Usually a good price. Ask a shop how many hours they bill to replace shocks on your car, and how much they charge/ hour. That should get you most of the info you want. That cost/hour charged can vary widely accross areas, so if you have a friend in a rural area, you may get it done at a shop he likes. I had some major work done on the chrysler. The same job costs $800 in Effingham IL at the dealer as work done at the chrysler dealership in the St Louis area for $1100.
