Hi,
Even though winter is the last thing on my mind I need to plan ahead for the one coming up.
I wondering if anybody has 16" Accord 03-04 steel rims they want to sell?
Thanks,
Matt

Was that what you were trying to ask? We do still have our alloys, but plan to keep them for trading in, in case the next model takes the 16" also. Then I won't have to buy new chrome unless I want to go to a different style. I'll ask the "boss" for you, but don't count on it.

I'm looking for some steel wheels because I want to put a set of winter tires on the Honda. This will also hopefully keep the OEM wheels looking a lot better. Salt really raises hell on aluminum wheel here in NE.
The OEM aluminum wheels on our 94 Accord looked ratty after 10 years of exposure to salt.
Thanks for your reply......:D

Sorry, I misunderstood....

Yeah, the salt would do them in! They aren't allowed to salt in the snow here anymore. It was killing trees in the Sierras. We still do some MAJOR rinsing & washing after a snow trip anyway. There's got to be years of residue that gets sloshed up.

for shopping.....maybe you could find something there! I'm sure you've looked on ebay....:)

You should also look for 15" wheels as they will also fit and are probably more common (DX, LX, only LX V6 has 16" steel). Also, tirerack has winter packages that come with steel wheels AND hubcaps to boot haha.

Look around on bigger boards like Honduh, Superhonda, Honda-Tech, Honda-Acura.net, etc. More people = more stuff for sale. Also don't forget to look for alloys, some are selling for real cheap. And steel wheels from other cars should fit as well. The Camry has been a 5 lug since the '80's I believe and wheels from them SHOULD fit your car but might wanna check on that before you go buying Camry wheels :)

I think your car is a 5x114.3 lug pattern (like I said better to make sure first before buying :)). If that's the case, a helluva lotta wheels will fit. Eclipse, RSX, TSX, 2nd gen TL and CL (but not the first gens), Integra Type-R (and Type-R only), 97+ Prelude, all Odyssey's, all CR-V's, 6th gen Accord V6's, MR2, Altima, basically I think almost any 5 lug japanese car. European cars are different, I think they use a 5x112.

They don't salt anymore. Californians don't know how to drive in snow so once it gets moderately bad they just shut the whole damn highway down :)
