No, it's not lost.

Where is your brake pedal when the car is sitting still with moderate pressure on the pedal? And, on a normal stop how much pedal pressure if any does your car require?

Please put your year and model, thanks. I'm working up some backup data to bring with me as proof my car has a problem.

example below:

approx 1 to 2 inches LOWER than the accelerator.
None, no effort and no resistance felt, braking starts at first 1/2 inch of travel.

- brakes are VERY sensitive...doesnt need much to stop the car..

I think mine is pretty close to the top. My RX7 was waaaayyyy low to the floor (but was easier to stop smoothly).

2006 EX-V6 6MT coupe. When stopped (and brake is pressed) its roughly the same height as the gas pedal (when that pedal is fully up).
