We are. My prince's mom was Pres. Kennedy's cousin. Her dad was John L. & she had a brother named Robert & many more names were common in both families. Her grandfather didn't want to go into boot-legging & the family split. She looked like Ted....jowls & all! Pres. Grant was my great grand uncle. He used to visit my great grandma.

Our son in law's cousin just won an Oscar for sound on Lord of the Rings!

Accord9404, I wasn't intenting to brag, it really isn't saying much. No money on this end of the family tree! Just curious. They say we're only a couple people away from all knowing each other. Maybe we'll all find out we're cousins somewhere down the line!:confused:

In our travels to tother places we nearly always meet someone that used to live here or has a relative in our community. We have a pretty big country & it's weird to me that I can head to AZ or somewhere & find someone that went to the same elementary school I did.....:)

My dad used to called me "peanut" & as a kid my room generally looked liked "pigpin" lived there......can that count?

Did you know Schultz? I've not been much of a Peanuts fan, but since he was local I have been the oddball around here.

Garfield has been one of my favorites. A lazy snot......:rolleyes: Not that I've EVER been accused of such a thing...

My husband says I'm like Tinkerbell, tiny, sassy, spoiled..... except I"m not jealous. He's an Eeyore. A quiet positively pessimist!!
