Power wire help

I am trying to run a 4 guage wire to my amp. Where is the best place to gain access through the firewall?

I did it by punching a hole in the big rubber gasket thing around the main wiring harness coming into the cabin from the engine bay (drivers side) and it worked great.

alright i may do that i found that grommet and looked fairly straight forward. But it is a 97 accord se plum in color. Only things (SO FAR) I've done are CAI, and the system i have in it. More to come later.

ive got a 95 accord, so same gen, and i was thinking. the battery is on the passenger side of the engine cmpt. so y not run the power wire thru the firewall on the passenger side? and the RCAs on the drivers side. that way i dont have to string more power wire thru the engine bay than i have to

my advice to you is to run a bigger cable for full use latter down the road.
you will wan't a bigger amp later on it is an addiction :thmsup:
