Their new '07's are actually pretty nice! I went to the dealer and drove one yesterday. For $22k, it has basically everything you'd need. It's got a trip computer, KEYLESS ENTRY AND IGNITION, nice sound system with aux-in jack. The weirdest thing is that it has a CVT tranny. It's just weird driving without feeling any jerking b/c of gear shifts. It is sooooo smooth and strong. I sure do feel that the 4 banger is stronger than our 4 banger. One problem about that car was that it feels more cramped than my '06 and the trunk is a lot smaller than ours. But other than that, it sure is a nice car. I'll wait until the '08 Accord and TSX come out and I'll decide if I should trade mine in for one of those.

P.S. funny thing is that the salesman thought my Accord is an Acura!! :lmao: I held it in until I gave him info about a possible trade-in. Boy, he felt stupid!!

How are the materials inside the car? I've driven the Nissan I4 and it is stronger than Hondas. It is also very coarse and noisy. I'm not a fan.

The VQ35 great engine and yes the new Altima is promising. Like you said, the Altima might be as good as the current Accord, but I doubt it. The new Accord will blow them away.

Now, the new TSX is going to be interesting. SH-AWD is gonna be sweet in that small car!

I think Car and Driver said the trunk is 18 cubic feet and yet it appears smaller than the Accord? Wow that's one hell of a misshapen trunk!

I hate keyless ignition...it is useless. I would much prefer a real key.

You're right! It does appear smaller but it's probably because of the extremely short trunk lid and it's a little shorter than the Accord, but it is definitely deeper than the Accord. So that's probably why I felt the trunk look smaller than the Accord. I love the keyless ignition!! It's just cool!

Steve, the quality of materials is actually very nice!! It's similar to the Accord, IMO, but without as much hard plastics like the Accord.

AWD (all wheel drive) I got, but SH? :dunno:

Super Handling All Wheel Drive.

Same as the RL. Acura is pushing all of their new models to have it. As the MDX, RDX, and RL have it. The TSX and TL are the last to get it.

I'm curious about the engine as they've ruled out the turbo. I doesn't look like we will see that engine in the TSX.

SH-AWD + MT=I will go broke for it.

I know Ben will agree with me on this one...Drive a MT properly and gear changes won't be jerky at all.

I'm still questioning if Nissian is going the right way by decking out all their new models with CVTs or MTs vs ATs or MTs. Still, as I have said many many times in the past give me a MT as an option and I'm happy, and this is where Toyota has gone wrong. Atleast imo it will be a cold day if they ever make a CVT standard/the only option on the SE-R. :paranoid:

Bill doesn't drive an MT I don't think so it's kind of a moot point...too bad he's missing out  I would not want a CVT

So they're still going to make the TSX? Been trying to find out what's up with it, but there's no news at all about it. Damn, Honda are sure tight-lipped about their (new) cars.

I already love the TSX the way it is, but if they put AWD and a turbo in it, plus a nice redesign... don't think I'll be able to fight the temptation any longer. As it is now, I sometimes wish I got the TSX instead, and then I start thinking about trading my Accord in for it. It's such a nice looking and driving car. Don't get me wrong, I love my Accord and don't regret buying it at all. It's just that the TSX is the Accord and so much more.

Must...... resist..... :D

I might think about one of those in a year.. It has to be black though..
I think they look like a batman-mobile...

What are your opinions? As far as a coorporate lease we get specail stuff through my parents fleet vehicle discount.. Something to think about at least.

I'm really hoping to see the TSX with a V6. If that had been available, I probably would have gotten that instead of the Accord.
