So i was wondering why we arent allowed to have signitures (im guessing something happened in the past), and also if maybe we could try having picture signitures again.
(with very stringent rules of course)

I'm not a big fan of having to scroll thru 300 lines of text and pictures to get to the next post. Keep your signatures short and no pictures. They are there just for you to give info about you and your car...apply "KISS" liberally (Keep It Simple, Stupid)

yeah, that is the reason I don't go to gen7accord. I use this board primarily through a pda. It always amazes me to see one guys signiture that has a picture larger than any picture on a thread. Personally, if you had the option to supress them, that would be sweet for the people who don't want or want them. I just don't think it is possible.

I've visited lots of forums that allow pics in the sig and I like the way this one flows much better without them. Remember you still get an avatar pic.

I have to agree with most of whats been said here. Sure, allowing pics would be nice, but too many people would start using them and the forum would become more cluttered and "busy" looking like a lot of other forums out there.
With that said, I do run a pic sig on all the other Accord boards that I sit on, but its a "text" picture sig, done basically so I can update the gif and it updates the text on all the forums at once (a LOT easier after adding a mod to my car and updating something). Since I can't do that here on DA.net, I just modify that image, then modying the actual text sig I have here.

Pages load faster without picture sigs, too. You can't disable just the pics in the signature, but you can disable the whole signature with vBulletin... It kinda defeats the purpose of everyone listing their cars in their sigs.
