hey guys, i know ive asked a similar question before :notworthy , but i never quite understood. where exactly is the wire for the headlights? im thinking about getting some aftermarket fogs and carving my stock fog brackets so theyll fit. but before i even try, i would like them to come on with my headlights. anyone know how?

You could find the headlight wire right behind the low beam headlight bulb behind the headlight housing.

It really depends on weather the aftermarket fogs include a relay to control the fogs. If it doesn't then you would have to get one separately and wire the fog light switch through the relay.

im not sure if this certainly applies but:
my cousin put HID's in both his headlights and fogs (volvo), and he wanted to have them both come on at same time..as in fogs come on with headlights, but he didnt want to mess with wiring so he went to the dealership and they had an ECU flash that would somehow make it so that the fogs come on with the headlights
..you may try looking around to see if this is possible on an accord...will save ya a bunch of trouble if they do...it does however cost money (80 bucks for my cousins)..so its not free by any means

they had an ECU flash that would somehow make it so that the fogs come on with the headlights No such thing for the accord. The headlights and fogs are mechanically controlled (with relays vs computer controlled) so you need to mess with the wiring. Besides, we're talking about aftermarket fog lights here.

i see the wires behind the low beam. but they are well covered with a grommet. how would i tap into it?

You will need to cut the insulation to expose the individual wires in the wiring harness.. The easiest way to access the wires is by removing the wheel and moving the fender liner aside. Then you'll have plenty of room to work with the headlight wires.

awesome! thanks again! you fixed my other wiring problems too for my grille light :) :) :D oh yea, just one more thing. what color is the wire i'm looking for? red i'm guessing?

I don't know what color the wires are, but you could use either one to run the relay. Both of them would have +12v when the headlights are on so you would connect that to the #85 on the relay and connect #86 to the chassis ground. Connect the +12v power source for the aftermarket fogs to #87 and connect the fog's positive wire (usually red) to #30. The ground wire from each fog light would connect to the chassis ground.
Take a look at this diagram to get a better understanding of the typical 12v (SPDT) relay. http://www.the12volt.com/relays/relays.asp
