I just recieved a gear shift steel trim cover for my accord 2003 lx. Anyone know how to install it? To see a picture, simply go to ebay.com, search for accord gear shift trim. I would post link but my copy/paste is malfunctioning. Any feedback is greatly appreciated

Easy to install with Self Adhesive Tape at the back!

Use these instructions to remove the shiftknob then just slip the plate over the shift lever

You actually should not have to take the shift knob off to get the trim plate off.

If you pry the plate up until it releases (make sure you have all the metal clips) and just turn the trim piece to clear the knob.

If you look on ebay, this trim plate goes over the PRND section of the gear shift, not where the seat heater buttons are. There is only one very narrow slot to pass over the shift knob, and it's not going to do it without the shift knob coming off first

Ahh, my bad :paranoid: I was not even aware they made a cover for this area.

 accordelegance, did you ever get a chance to take pics of the trim plate installed?

I am interested in seeing it on a car before I decide if I am going to get one or not. :D
