So my dads first oil change he looks at his honda manual and it says he can use 5w-30 or 5w-40. His car is gulf specced, so I'm guessing 30-40 for the higher temps. It's kind of a wierd mix, it looks like the north american accord we have, while the engine HP/torque/specs are the same as the Euro Accord on the UK website :dunno: but it's the K24 allright.

Does the oil cap say anything on it? I know my oil cap (J30 engine) says 5w-20. The oil cap on my mom's 6th gen 4 cylinder says 5w-20, too.
What were you planning on putting in it?

Well I have a full USDM 05 I4 coupe here in the US and I use 5w-20 as noted in the manual. My dad is in Jordan and has the 06 I4 USDM body/Euro engine specs Sedan, his manual says 5w-30 or 5w-40, nothing on the oil cap.
I'm going to stick with 5w-20 for mine since we constantly get sub freezing temps here in Utah, nothing really compares to that temp range in the middle east. However if I was someplace warmer, I think I'd use the 30 for more protection since the K24 seems to be flexible.
