I'll be getting a trunk tray by next week and could not decide wether I should go with the OEM's or Weathertechs. Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know squat about either but people on DA seem to be pretty happy with the OEM tray. I kinda like it myself.

The OEM one is nice, but not very grippy, so things slide more. If the weathertech is more rubbery, it might be nicer from that aspect.

I've heard the weathertech and OEM are the same, except the OEM has the "Accord" stamped. I could be wrong, but someone told me that.

They could be the same...who knows...lol

Really if it were me I'd go with whatever one is cheaper. Weathertech's products are very good, so either way you should have proper fitment for your car. I was actually thinking of getting one of these myself but then found out I can't use the cargo net I have with a trunk tray installed (as it blocks the lower net mounts). I figure I'm just going to go to walmart or something and pick up a high-lipped rubber doormat and use that in the trunk for winter.

Oh one other thing...I'm not sure in the US, but here in Canada most Honda dealerships can order direct from Weathertech as well. When I bought my floorliners for the front rather than go through Weathertech and pay for shipping, I just went into the dealership where I got my car, and they got them for me at the same price as Weathertech's website (but without any shipping costs).

I had a weathertech liner in my previous vehicle, and I now have the OEM Honda liner in my Accord.

Both are very high quality and I can't give the advantage to either....just go with what costs less :thmsup:

...my Accord has the OEM trunk tray in it, a wonderful item to have, it really does a great job of protecting your trunk from spills and anything else you might imagine that could 'contaminate' the floor of your trunk...

I have the Weatherthech and if fits perfectly. But I bought it only because my local Honda dealer didn't have the OEM one available when I bought my car, and the Weathertech shipped faster. Buy which ever is cheaper in your case, they're both just as good.

I just bought the OEM liner. I got it online for $90 shipped to my door.. I didnt know there was another alternative.. The OEM one fits great and will do the job..

I use the OEM tray from the 6th gen Accord. It fits perfect and I paid nothing for it, because my dad took it out of his 6th gen before returning it when the lease was up. :D

Well, i went with the Weathertech trunk tray and floor liner and I got them for 90 each. The trunk tray came out cheaper since I did not have to pay for shipping.
