I have a 2005 accord Dx and was wondering if there was a way to change the standard side view mirrors to powered ones, is it possible?

Of course it's possible. You could get any 7th gen sedan mirror and it will fit without any modifications. However if you want to wire up the power to the power mirrors, then that's a completely different story. The DX just doesn't have the connectors and switches for the power mirrors so you'll need a new set. The price for the conversion probably isn't worth it.
