shocar4 01-24-2007, 01:24 PM well i got my fogs in the mail yesterday and everything is there....they actually look pretty nice quality~ i am going to install them this weekend and do some before and after shots for you guys! wish me luck
well here are the before and after pictures of the fog lamps...it took me about five hours to install them, but I did have a few interruptions along the way! i am really happy with them let me know what you think!
faderrific 01-24-2007, 01:27 PM Good luck!
faboloso 01-24-2007, 02:39 PM ohh ive always wanted to know how the 06 ebay fogs are. keep us posted!!
goosem36 01-24-2007, 05:16 PM I got mine from ebay as well today. The lights and housings are of good quality. All the wiring for under the hood appears to be present. My only concern is that the kit did not come with any wiring for underneath the dash. It came with the oem switch so I'm hoping that the wiring is already tucked underneath the dash.

i dont believe it is...
as for the ebay fogs, make sure you check them the first couple weeks to see if they have condensation form inside of them (lots of ebay fogs are unproperly sealed
alpha 01-24-2007, 10:42 PM the wiring isn't there for under the dash. some of it is, but you still need a separate wiring harness.
shocar4 01-25-2007, 07:05 AM mine came with the harness that goes to the fogs then connects to another harness that goes to the fuse box and to the switch and the switch harness has a couple other connections coming from it...i'll figure it all out!
faderrific 01-25-2007, 07:14 AM what instructions are you using? I suggest using either HandA's or the ones on this forum. Make sure you have all vital pieces.
shocar4 01-25-2007, 08:13 AM yeah i am going to print out the 17 pages that are on the forum!
Coil99 01-25-2007, 08:26 AM keep us posted!!
Yes, please. Fogs are about the only thing I'd like to put on the Accord.
shocar4 01-25-2007, 08:35 AM you know i am not sure i have the fog light brackets that the fogs tighten up too!
faderrific 01-25-2007, 08:36 AM The ones I bought from Ebay were all assembled. They didn't come broken down. Check yours, they should be the same.
shocar4 01-25-2007, 10:09 AM ^^^^yeah mine are assembled, so you are probably right! i'll check when i get home....i plan on using the info from the 2006 instructions thread here in the forum....it looks just like my wiring harness and setup! i am going to start on them on saturday morning.....do you have to take any of the plastic under the bumper off by the fog lights?

shocar4 01-27-2007, 02:48 PM take a look at the top post! i added the pics of before and after! let me know what you think!
phoenix 01-27-2007, 04:16 PM Nice job! Very clean install. How is the light pattern? I really think the fogs on the 06 and 07 look classy. They finish off the look of the front end perfectly.
shocar4 01-27-2007, 04:26 PM the light pattern seems to be pretty good! i haven't really taken it down the road since the install, but when i was ajusting the lights they sure seemed good to me!
shocar4 01-29-2007, 07:20 AM bump for all those who were waiting to see the pics!
shocar4 01-30-2007, 05:48 AM any other comments on the install?
faderrific 01-30-2007, 06:56 AM Looks nice! Add it to your sig.

faderrific 01-31-2007, 10:15 AM I'm confused, the link you posted is for coupe fogs. You have a sedan though, right? I was thinking of getting some of the same ones you got for my dad's 04.

What did you do different on the wiring? Did the connectors fit properly? Do you have any close up pics?
goosem36 02-04-2007, 03:58 PM ....i wired them in a little differently than the instructions,
Were you able to use the switch they gave you? I received mine from motorenergy and the switch does not fit; it's too wide. :thumbsdow

yes i used the switch...i had to shave it down some and it is really tight, but i am going to wire it straight to the parking lights and bypass that crappy switch!

I too, am wondering regarding the harnesses' connectors' fitment. Did the ebay connectors fit the accord connectors? or did you have to cut off all the connectors?

shocar4 02-14-2007, 09:29 AM you have to cutt them....but believe me it was easy as pie! not really a big deal at all! i think that i cutt one end if i remember correctly!
dukwei 02-14-2007, 01:40 PM you have to cutt them....but believe me it was easy as pie! not really a big deal at all! i think that i cutt one end if i remember correctly!
thanks shocar4. so you are saying out of the 5 connectors on teh ebay harness, you only had to cut off one of them? (ie - 4 ebay harness connectors fit into the accord connectors, therefore are left intact?)
shocar4 02-15-2007, 07:15 AM there are not six connectors that go to the car...most of them connect between each other....there are only two that go to the car...one you have to cutt and the other i took the plastic cover off the connector and it worked like a charm!
angusW 02-24-2007, 09:55 PM shocar4, so did you by-pass the switch? If not is it lit when the main lights are on and the fogs are off?
