Retractable wire...

Does anyone know if would be an easy task to take a cord and make it retractable?

My best comparison is (in the "old" days) at the bank then you'd pull the pen out of the table... it retacts back when you're done. Something like that.

Anyone have ANY idea how to make something like that? I wanna use it for my aux-in cord for my car :)

have you checked best buy, circuit city, or other electronics stores as of yet???

maybe ebay or somewhere may have something like that..... :)
