I have a 2007 Accord and I've seen a few pics/seen a few people with them, but I was wondering if anyone had a DIY for installing an LED into the cup holder area? I hate having a drink with me at night and having problems finding the right spot to put it back into...

Thanks!

buy some leds at autozone, drill a whole into your cupholder..mount the leds..then wire the leds to something that turns on at night

you can buy an access a fuse (google it) ..and it will allow u to wire it directly to the fuse box, and then put a inline fuse on the circuit

as for an actual diy..no..no one has made one that i know off

drill a whole into your cupholder..mount the leds..Won't the LED get "squished" if it's sticking out? And what if, for example, one of the drinks condensates or something, and leaks through... couldn't it damage whatever electronics are located beneath it with that hole?

I bought an "Add a circuit" from Canadian Tire (I'm Canadian.. lol)

well, more than likely, your drink wont take up the entire cup holder...plus those leds from autozone have a self mounting deally..and the led only sticks out a couple mm..

you can always put a little bit of clear sealent around it to keep water from getting through
