I used a little hand sanitizer (no water available) to remove some sticky residue on the car roof.

It shouldn't, the main ingedient in it is alcohol, I would just make sure to rinse the area after cleaning.

the alcohol will remove any polymer coating.... as in Zaino & others. So if you use one of the polymers instead of wax, you should put on another coat ASAP.

I just used a small portion on the roof approx. size of a nickel :dunno:

I'd still cover that spot. Our Zaino stuff we keep a spray bottle with the car shampoo in it for those times.... like when a bird hit it when it's just been washed! It has some of the polymer in it too.

I missed one on the bumper last year..... & it made a discolored spot! The crap :D will eat through anything!
