Car has 58K on it. Local Honda dealer is ADAMANT I get it done, or risk "having big problems" in the future..........
I already did the transmission service at 50K........so other than the air filter replacement and an oil change, what am I missing for $400?? :dunno: :dunno:

$350 worth of inspections! DUH!
(end sarcasm). Really though, find a good mechanic and use him. MUCH CHEAPER! Heck, you can pick up a Hayne's manual and do the inspections yourself. Hell, I just changed my transmission fluid on my wife's Civic (Accord is similar) with ramps in my driveway in just an hour. Best $20 I ever spent (on the Hayne's manual).

depends on the year & model..... :dunno:
Along with the inspections is lubing the brake calipers, so you don't get stuck brakes....adjustments where needed.
You can do it yourself. The list is in the owners manual. Nothing's difficult.
If it were mine, ALL the fluids would be changed....the whole exhaust system would be checked for leaks, also check for oil & coolant leaks, the brakes inspected, cleaned & lubed, hinges lubed, all the lights checks, new wipers, look over each plug wire & hose & belt for wear & cracking, make sure none of the CV boots are getting brittle, clear out the drains if there's a moonroof, new cabin filter, air filter & fuel filter. I'd spray A/C disinfectant in the system, if I used recir more than fresh....
But that's me.
The most important thing is the oil change. The rest depends on what level of care you want your car to have.
Is it worth 300-400? :dunno: I don't pay for labor, just parts. So it's what a 1.5% investment of the cost of a car.... My peace of mind is worth more than that. :D
Of course, mine gets things cleaned on it with ever wash that most neglect too. I want it too last & look good as long as possible. For me. Not for trade in or anyone's opinion. I love hearing from people that it still smells new, looks new & acts new..... but that's not why I do it.... I love to be in it all clean & well maintained inside, outside underneath, upside down & sideways!!!
But don't look today.....it's been raining for a week & even the engine compartment is dirty!! :paranoid:
But the oil's clean!! :lmao:
