Brace got here tonight (Tuesday) Hopefully will get on tomorrow. The brace is really light. Assume it to be an aircraft aluminum type metal. Probably old coke cans at that. Will keep you posted. OBTW, might go to D.C., a friend recommended going up through Tennessee, seems as there is a strech of road (about 14 miles) with a large number of twists and turns on it, somewhere on the NC border I think. Thanks, Chris

John called your cell phone today. Quick question reference the bolts on the CUSCO BRACE. Those bolts in the picture have a built in washer and a "shoulder" (Meaning the threads do not go all the way to the top of the bolt. Correct? Thanks. UPS says brace will be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully will be installed by Wednesday. Thanks.

We will try the Cusco II first. Not sure where the type one does its mounts but could be an alternative. At this point I do not think there will be a problem. What I notice in the car now is that the rear seems well planted and almost acts as a pivot point for the front. Think it will help with the slight side to side movement of the front end. Do feel the road surface changes and the Accord has always had a jerky ride over some road surfaces. You really notice expansion joints on bridges. The steering wheel at times has a right to left/lefyt to right movement but I attribute that to the suspension. Did you notice this being increased or decreased after the Cusco was installed? Know that the Cusco was made for the TSX but fits the Accord. Do you think that the increased HP and torque of the 6 cylinder will pose a problem? Know that the TSX was 200HP but not sure of the torque. Worried that the bolts used might shear. BTW, RacingLab is where it will be ordered from.

Hi John, tow bracket installed. Noticed that rear end is a little stiffer. Took on some back roads and car handled better. Based on your remarks on the CUSCO Brace I will order it tomorrow. Was hoping that it would curtail the side to side motion. Now looking at 10k to 15k down the road at tires. The 960AS tires are very good but ride a tad hard. I always thought that H rated was softest, then V rated a little stiffer and W rated the hardest due to the sidewalls stiffening as the speed rating got higher. Expansion joints are tough on the bridge. Will kee you posted on the CUSCO Brace. Only modification will be the anti-vibration hook on the exhaust pipe. Hoping there will be enough clearence. Thanks, Chris

John, ordered the trailer hitch today. Pobably won't tow anything but will be nice to have anyway. Did get the bike carrier though. The weight is about 28.xx pds. I figure it is about equal to an additional 4 gallons of gas in the tank. Have noticed the rear end still gets a little lite at 1/4 tank of gas. Hopefully, this will help. Interested to see how it helps as a lateral brace. BTW, as far as the CUSCO brace goes, I know you said it stiiffens the front, but in what way up/down, side to side or both/ Thats the next piece of the pie. Should get the tow package instaaled Monday or Tuesday. will let you know. Thanks, Chris
