hey, i'm wanting the sport edition se-14 in 18" (as soon as theyre in stock again) but i'm worried a little bit because theyre so cheap. have you hit any decent potholes or anything? i read somewhere that they may be a little soft and easier to bend than higher end wheels. ...of course at that price buying another wheel wouldnt be too hard on the wallet.

    thanks,
    cole

    Hey man,

I was looking at your build list and was really curious about your illuminated accord door sills. Now I have an 09 coupe, would they work on mine? And if so, where could i get them?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

headlights: $180 shipped from USA to USA. (I will be selling mine hopefully in about a month, but would prob ask more for shipping since I now reside in Canada)
projectors: FX bi-xenon from theretrofitsource.com, with D2S bulbs, relay harness, D2S adaptor (to use with current ballast), $230 with shipping
HID ballast (from any conversion) $80-110, depending on various source.

Alternatively, you can inquire with the retrofitsource to see if you get the ballast from them that would give you a direct output for D2S bulbs (so you don't have to use an adaptor). They are very helpful in picking out the right setup for you.

I used a bi-xenon projector that has a solenoid which i'm planning to use as a high-beam function on the projector. (so essentially, i have the original high beam, AND the retrofitted low/high beam functionality)

misc costs include: paints, drills, dremels... etc... you do need some sort of wiretapping materials if you're doing the bi-xenon setup. $100??

all in all about how much is your retrofit costing you? time as well as money.
i have been thinking about doing it myself as well.
