Thanks dude. I think they sound great, I get no distortion from the speakers. I do have the speakers amped with the MB Quart 7 Channel amp and a separate amp for the sub. The fit was good all around so no issues there. All that is running on the stock head and I don't turn it up past 20 and that's plenty loud. If you need more info on the set up, I still have all the paper work I can get you the exact specs. Good luck.

Nice mods guy! I wanted to ask you about your speaker replacements. Im going to do the same and wanted to know how the mb quarts and jl sub sound with the stock head. did you have to add any amplification? I have the exl v6 270 watt in now. Do you think that would be enough to sound good with that speaker set up. Also did the mb quarts fit in the doors ok?
