Hi I saw your post someone asked you about switching a factory stereo with a Nav system. Can you pls help me?

I have an 03 accord EX with nav and clim control, I dont know what version disk it uses, for now I tried a 3.20a which I'm guesin is the stock one but didn't work. The display only shows "please Check disk".
I understand that the dvdrom needs the correct version but it doesnt seem to read the disk at all, i opened the drive and the disk barely spins, replacing back drive costs $550. However I was wondering if replacing the console with a regular one off an lx or other modep coupe, sedan without navigation and climate control would be a better alternative ($$ and future problems). Can this be done?
I live in Raleigh, is there anyone in this area you may know of can do this?

P.s. I tried disconnecting the battery, the three button diagnostic menu trick didn't work, removed the DVD drive and cleaned the lens.

Saw that you are buying retrofitted headlights...I could retrofit one for you if you send me the headlights. I have good feedback on other forums where I've done a lot of headlight work. I do good work at an even better price(nowhere near lightwerkz). Lemme know if you are interested and would like to see some pics of my work.
