Intro:

Hi everyone, so I am trying to upgrade all my interior and exterior lighting for as low cost as possible while still achieving the same affect. The kits are nice for ease but you pay a 30-40% premium for the ease. Most of this information is scattered around the site multiple pages into the threads or does not yet exist on driveaccord. My plan is to provide an intro with what will be done, then save the 2nd post spot to update as everyone chimes in with part numbers and links, I will also provide pictures as I install and attach others pictures as they post so if anyone has any good info or pics/diy's just post them below with the # so I know where to attach. I would like to upgrade the following and any legitimate links are great, I like amazon because they have lots of offerings and free shipping but any of the big honda dealers will work as well, I have had good experience with Majestic, Handa, and Collegehills personally.

1) Headlights -
A. Low Beams - Just purchased H9's that I will trim according to this DIY, best one I found so far (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=119161)

Cost 7.41 each X 2 -
B. High Beams - (Will be last on my list probably since the OEM is adequate but would like to get the info here)

C. DRL - Have not done much research on these as I like the OEM look and do not really want to open up my housing at this point but I remember a DIY on changing them. I will update when I get a chance.

D. Fogs - Range from $20-$200+ for OEM, some models and lights require bumper replacement, also will post this after I get it all down first.

2) Interior - Trying to beat 54.99 which includes 2 door, 2 map and 1 dome
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Honda-Accord-Direct-Fit-LED-Interior-Lights-p/pkg_honda_df_02b.htm

A. Trunk Wedge - Part# CWHP6, or #194 bulb I believe (conf. needed) will try to find or if someone has found a cheaper alternative http://www.collegehillshonda.com/honda-accord-sedan-accessories/2008-2012-accord-electronics.htm (I will be buying one of these as soon as the part # is confirmed via this thread.

Cost 11.95

B. MAP lights - Part# CWHP4, 3 are needed (two front one back for the dome, correct if I am wrong) http://www.collegehillshonda.com/honda-accord-sedan-accessories/2008-2012-accord-electronics.htm

Cost 6.95 x 3

C. Vanity miror lights (have not looked into these at all but will post if anyone knows #'s or cost)

D. Courtesy Wedge Part# WHP (little lower lights on the door)
http://www.collegehillshonda.com/honda-accord-sedan-accessories/2008-2012-accord-electronics.htm

Cost 4.95 x 2 (for coupe, not sure about sedan)

3) Taillights/Rear Lights -

A. Brake Lights - Upgrade that flashes real quick then stays on, I will do this later on because I am paranoid about getting rear ended
Upgrade with hyperflash, Part# PUT-235743W
Stock Brake Light - will look up if someone else doesn't have it handy

B. Reverse lights - #921 (sedan and coupe are different I believe if someone could chime in) - did a lot of research on these but never heard any one light that everyone recommended, will see what info people post but here is a good start - http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=66189
This will be my next purchase as soon as I can find one I know works.

C. Parking lights/turn signals - have not looked into these I will add any posted research

D. License Plate Light – (Really need to confirm this # but I think it is possible I can order this pack of 194/168 blubs and use one for the interior trunk light and one for the license plate )
Cost $5.21 (comes in a 2 pack)
Comparison for anyone choosing between blue and white lights http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=26412

4) Sponsors -
Will try to plug some sponsors because they do make it very easy and you know exactly what you are getting and get great customer service assistance along with your purchase, have heard great things about Steve with XenonDepot - http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Honda-Accord-Coupe-2010-LED-interior-light-s/636.htm

and I will add any others as I find them or if people have good experiences, post them.

5) Install links - (just thought of this as an afterthought but wish I had saved a bunch of links as I made this, I will add them in as I find them again.) Please add all the links that you found helpful.

A. License plate install - http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=64847

That is all I have time for now, I will use the next post as the master post and the third as a template so everyone's posts can be kept easily organized, please just fill in your information and links next to the respective heading with links ect. and I will add them. Also please feel free to make any and all suggestions so this can be the best/most concise lighting upgrade thread possible.

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Honda-Accor...nda_df_02b.htm"

Re: HID, I was trying to stay legal. But I literally just had that thought about Retrofits and HIDs and all that Jazz, if someone wants to add that part I just don't know that much about it and 14$ OTD was alot more appealing than $600+ for Retro or $40 minimum and being illegal.

Re: LED's yea I know that you can get a sack of like 100 LED's for real cheap but I am interested in Plug and Play, the links I put up there were well below the 54.99 price point.

Hopefully someone can chime in about the 3rd brake light conv.

thanks for the heads up chuang, I was hoping some people would just chime in since they have the info in their brains but if not I will just populate the rest of the list as I finish my research over the next few days with info from this site and others to hopefully save someone else some time down the line.
