Thumbs up Like Ice Cube said, "Today was a good day"

I went out for lunch. I was driving over to First Wok in Sunnyvale for some Chinese food. I was waiting to make a left turn from El Camino Real onto Bernardo. I could see a group of construction guys all huddled up like they always are, 5 surrounding 1 or 2 who are really doing the real work of digging. One of those guys turns around and stares at me or my car, I hadn't made the distinction yet. The light turns green and I'm turning towards them. As I'm getting closer the guy staring yells out, "that is sick!" I nod my head as a thanks since that was my first instinct. He caught me off guard. I didn't expect a yell that loud. Before startling me, I thought ok he must like my car and he's just going to give it a look. However the yell threw me off. I had my windows down and I could've said thanks but the surprise sort of embarrassed me. All in all, the event lifted my spirits. I wasn't exactly in a happy mood. The guy that yelled doesn't know how good that made me feel. Now it's time to Pay-it-Forward.

Any of you gone through something similar lately?

Somewhat. I was at the dealer for my oil change, and when I handed the car over to the Service Specialist, he gave me a nice comment about my interior lights. He asked where I had them installed. I told them I did them myself, and he seemed surprised.

Maybe it's the fact that half the people who see them call them rice, but having a compliment come from a guy who works for Honda, from something that only cost $60 and a few hours of labor was pretty neat.

No but the stock shocks lose their dampening force the lower you go. I can easily tuck my wheels in the wells.

Ditto.....only drive the Tundra on the weekends or when I can't stand driving a car during the week.

I actually went to Caesar over at lightwerkz...I didn't get a retrofit, I really wanted too but couldn't afford it at the time.
I just added the 4 halos and hid to the stock projectors

Ahh man, you should return that badboy (the TV) and wait a couple more weeks, trust me, look into the new Vizio's coming out (the one i want model # SV472XVT) Well worth the wait if you ask me and feature rich!!
