I have a question......why aren't you listed under the sponsor's corner area? Not confidence inspiring for members nor do most even know you're here.

I recently purchased the new Meguiar's DA microfiber correction system and it says to use compressed air to clean the disks often while in use. This might be a dumb question but since I don't have access to compressed air, is there any other options? I have several cans of compressed air duster stuff but I assume that wouldn't work as well or at all?

you can rinse your car and then move to the next step or you can gently dust it off.

You can use a brush similar to a brush you would use to clean out a foam pad..

The best alternative to compressed air is the honeycomb style bug sponge that many retailers sell... works great

While doing any correction, keeping the pads clean will yield best results - with the new Megs MF system it is absolutely needed... if not the fibers will mat down and become useless

So I tried to clay a small section of the door on my Dad's '08 white Dodge Charger and the clay kept leaving blue stains on the paint. I kept it well lubed with soapy water but it kept leaving the stains. I had to rub them extremely hard with my waffle-weave drying towel to get them to come off. The clay was kept in an air tight bag since the fall. It felt no different than when I last used it but I never saw any stains on my paint when I did before. So my question is, why was the clay leaving blue stains on the paint?
