Unhappy Front Bumper Scrape

Hey guys, I got a pretty nasty scrape on my front bumper =/. The way my garage is set up makes it pretty tricky to get in when another car is parked in the driveway so long story short, I scraped the bumper on the side of the garage opening. There isn't any denting, just the paint scrape like in the picture. Do you guys think touch up paint would help at all, or what should I do?

Thanks

Dosent look too bad, looks like you could cover it up with a touch up pen.

Looks like mostly paint transfer from the garage paint. Try some Meguiars Ultimate Compound on it. Available at Walmart, Autozone etc for around $8-9.

Optional: Try some Blue Magic(or Meguiars or Mothers)($12) automotive detailing clay on it FIRST. Then the UC. Available at the same places as the UC.

Final: Wax or sealant to protect the area.

Thanks for the responses! So should I try the Meguiars Ultimate Compound first and whatever doesn't come off, use touch up paint?

Exactly but I would run a clay bar over it first for best results. The clay bar is good to use at least once a year on the entire car to keep it looking nice.

Mask it up and paint it, or touch it up for now.

I probably won't get a chance to do anything for about a month, I'm busy with the end of semester at my university. Sorry

you can always have a 3m invisible car bra installed after the fix. I have one on my car, and it protects it fairly well. Had it put on less then a week after purchase. There are a few nicks in it now, but it saved my paint from several flying rocks, and bugs slide right off it.
