New guy from GTA (Mississauga) 08 NHBP i4 Coupe

Finally I make an intro page, well basically I've been lurking and raping the search button for 7 months (Got the car & months ago). I drove an '09 Civic Coupe EXL for 2 years before I got sick of it and wanted something.. well.. bigger and better looking

First thing I got were $15 chrome door handles from ebay... excellent quality! Aside from that, the car was stock until this month... I finally bought a Takeda SRI, and then just TODAY i finally went ahead and did the dual exhaust conversion! Since I live in Canada everything was much more expensive but.. HELLA WORTH IT x 1000!!!!!

I do NOT have a sound clip of the dual exhausts because my parents took my camera on their trip and won't be back until May... however, it sounds exactly, and i mean exactly like Silverkords, Link :
(I hope he doesn't mind me using it)...

And i'm sure anyone who has the dual conversion setup will tell you that it sounds at least.... 10x better in person than on camera. I'd be happy to meet up with anyone in the area for a live sound clip Honestly it was the best thing i've ever bought for myself LOL.

cheers

ps. Thank you to those that have given me VALUABLE information with these mods before I actually did them: Danni3, Deity, Andrew, and Labaos_89.

pps. sorry for the crappy cellphone pics. :P

More pics...

Got the exhausts done at a local specialty exhaust shop called "Hot Rod Scott's"... they seriously did an amazing job and for the best price i've found.

Your dual exhaust looks good. I have a few questions.

How does the car accelerate now that you have dual exhaust.
Am considering this eventually, have read many opinions about dual exhaust affecting performance negatively, positively.
How does the car perform now, is your pick up quicker?
How is it on the highway?
What brand mufflers?

Thanks guys,

Chuangandrew: yes you're the andrew i'm talking about :P

Coupe7: really i do not notice ANY difference in performance or acceleration aside from the sound. If you search the forums pretty much nobody notices any gains or negatives with the i4. Highway : the only thing is a very very minimal, deep drone noise above 110 km/hr (70 mpg) but honestly I was changing the track on my ipod and that's when i noticed it. with music you don't notice it at all, and it's far from annoying. Mufflers are Magnaflow 14832
