A supercharger can be installed for about $5k, its for the tsx so im asuming it will work. Or u can build the turbo urself.

no. not any k series will fit. some of the kits made for the k series are slightly different. (i.e, the si's engine bay is way smaller than a tsx or accord) and tuning for the accord is going to hard, REGARDLESS if you have a 03 or a 07. Only difference in the throttle body. one has DBW and other doesn't. Regardless, getting any tuning solution to work with forced induction (obviously k-pro is the best solution since it gives you cam angles, advance, etc) is difficult and require custom harness/custom work.

DBW as well as getting k-pro to work. you can't just get k-pro, plug it up, and expect it to work.

the tsx one should work, BUT there are some modifications that have to be made to fit. simple mods, but if you're going to dump that much into it, might as well turbo it.

Turbos cost way more than 3-4 grand. Turbo's range anywhere from like, 300-2000 and you need all the misc items; intercooler, intercooler piping, downpipe, turbo manifold, injectors, etc. and of course the almighty tuning solution. k-pro alone, from k-tuned is over 2500.

I'd say that all considered including professional tuning, custom work by an expert shop you're looking at $7500+. That's a huge amount of money to drop on a five year old car and you'll never recoup it. The transmission is not up to the task so add a new transmission to the bottom line. Not the smartest move but if you have money to burn then it doesn't matter.

Most folks that ask this question have never even seen a turbocharger much less have ANY idea of the amount of custom work and fabrication it takes to make one work correctly. Sell it/trade it in on a Hyundai or Kia that has a factory turbo set up and backed by a warranty.

I am looking to turbo my i4, 4 door, automatic as well. If we just leave out how its not going to be cost effective, or practical, and considering it is an automatic, how much am i looking at for a price, and where can i find a decent website that sells turbos? I understand that the TSX uses the k24a2, and the accord uses a k24a4, how much of a difference will it be between the two engine bays? Would buying a turbo for a k24a2 require much more modification? I completely understand the amount of work that has to go into it and all of the possibly custom parts needed. I just want to know a price for a solid "kit" or combination of kits, and a website for such kits.

well, boosting a automatic has one big positive to it. it nevers loses boost.

and the v6 6 speed isn't going to be faster than any tuned 4 cyl. i've seen some 4 cyl with bolts on beat v6 6 spees.

depends on what you want. gt35r/6262 makes power/high psi. but look around. if you're gonna dump that much money into boosting the car, get name brand parts. don't cheap out cause then it'll cheap out on your motor.
