Yes, you can use is as a trunk light mod! Just a simple plug and play as well.

I was interested in the RGB Multicolor Diode Dynamics Footwell LED Kit for my 8th gen, but am not sure how to install or how difficult it is to install. I seems like a nice kit but the only thing that's stopping me from buying them is the difficulty of the installation.

Well, if you check out the video, that should give you an idea! All you really need to do is access the cig lighter to make the connection, then run the wires.

Brightness: Stage 2 I am looking to purchase these tail lights,Few questions? In your pictures of the tail lights ,they look red in output color? stock bulbs are clear white in output color? I had purchased some stage 1 bulbs from a amazon vendor,The output was very low and i could not used them. Thanks

You match the LED to the color of the lenses, this is not the case for your stock bulbs.
Our lights are very bright, and if for some reason you are unsatisfied we have a 30 return policy. Hope that helps, Michelle
