Bought the Honda Accord EX Black/Black .
MSRP: 26,195
Bought for 23,323.95
OTD 25,500

to get the otd price i had them take out the pro package which includes:
trunk tray, wheel locks and mud guards. <-500 bucks for that?! Eff that!

What exactly is considered a "sale"? Like I agreed to a price and put a deposit down, but they have to locate the color I want

I just hope they honor the price if they don't find it till next week (especially since I had $500 off for financing through Honda)

if they can locate the car on the ground from another dealer and it's coming to them, it has a ser# and they can report it. If it's coming from directly from honda and is not there yet, they can't report it.

good choice. those mudguards are ugly, especially because they're unpainted

where did you buy the car ?

I bought the car in Roseville, CA. Yeah it is. And when I decide to get mudguards I would probably get a better deal elsewhere.

Interesting,I can't get a exl v6 black/ivory sedan in the Philly area,I have found two but when my dealer calls the other dealers they dont exist.
Yet they show online inventory, one dealer is telling my dealer it is a two door, yet if I call
where the car is they say it is a sedan. Something fishy going on with dealer trades.
My price is 30K out the door which they say ok to for a dealer trade,if I want something on the lot they will take 27,739 which includes delivery plus TTL.

Any dealer can tell any other dealer to pound salt when called for a trade...possession is 9/10 of the law as they say. Many dealers will not trade with other dealer because of past bad practices...It's just like life, you have friends and enemies...

I am looking to purchase the exl v6 w/navi or touring model, I looked online to see the sticker and invoice prices (I understand each dealer has own price for what they paid or something like that). However that number gives me a starting point on how to negotiate. I only have internet quotes for these vehicles (OTD price of about 33,400 for exl v6/nav from one dealer and 30,500 nothing included pre tax and so forth from another dealer). I want to go in person and deal for the car, I like to look at the person when spending that kind of money. I live in New York City area and was wondering if anybody who also lives in NY that bought the car, can give me a rough idea about the tax (I think ~8-8.8%), doc fees, title fees, registration and so forth. Having that info before going into the dealer I think would be beneficial. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

It isn't considered "sold" until it is delivered and driven off the lot by the customer.

not always true.....you are working in a dealership right? If you are, you know the pre-punch game....it's sold when it's funded and it's month end close....

i think the sport is at 24900. you can check out their inventory.http://www.autowesthondaroseville.com

they offered me 24,400. with tax and everything it was about 26300. so i just told them no way. 25500 OTD, and i did not talk after that. then they counter offered me 26000. so my brother and i got up like we're about to leave, and the sells manager said let him work something out with the general manager. i think i did pretty good =]

they offered me sport for 24,500 OTD without any pro pack, but they didn't have colors when i wanted to take. And I wonder how did they offered EX for 25,500 OTD ??
