they do that because the motor doesn't fit.

what they need to do to resolve this is to make a custom dome or something on the hood so that the motor isn't seen.

Years and years ago I read in Car & Driver that someone in Germany took a Porsche 928 chassis and power train as a starting point, then built a Golf body shell around it, he would regularly blown the doors off unsuspecting BMW and Mercedes on the Autobahn.

Did you see the Golf they did last year?
It was a mid/rear engine version with the Bugatti W16 quad turbo in it.

lol, total overkill for a Civic

I like the J32 though, it would've been a nice choice if they put it in the current gen Accord V6...

funny, i dont think anyone would steal the motor, its not a b or k series, its a j series nothing too rare there. however the whole car, that they might steal. but even so. not like you wouldnt get spotted in it if you did steal it since only a handful of people have done the swap.
