Hardly any paint will dry well in cold weather That's why on the can it says to store between such and such degrees and for best results paint in such and such degrees lol

Well everyone was pissing me off so I left home and decided I needed something to do to my car. It was a good way to waste a day.

I know this post is from a while ago, but am I able to get any HFP Spoilers for my 7.0 gen? I heard they were discontinued.

If you search far and wide I'm sure you can find some. There is a listing right now for 03-05 Honda HFP side skirts ($175) and HFP rear lip ($175) or $300 for both in Baltimore, MD on Craigslist but they are NHBP (black).

I ran into the same situation with mine, as all of the graphite pearl OEM spoilers were discontinued - so I ordered my front (OEM Alabaster Silver) on eBay from a reputable seller for $350 shipped, and my OEM rear lip (Metallic blue) from Sons Honda. I then paid my body guy to paint them Graphite Pearl. He did such a wonderful job, you can never tell that they were a different color originally Looks like they came on my car from the factory.

A lot of 7th Gen owners have had to settle for the aftermarket replica lips on eBay though, being that they are so rare to come across

Would I be able to just get the front one or would it look weird without the sides and back?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm just completely new to this.

A lot of people just get the front, I think the more subtle 03-05 front lips can be pulled off nicely alone. However, my 7.5th Gen ('06-07) front lip is a little less subtle and I think it sort of needs the rear lip to pull it all together. I was going to just do the front til Tom (tommastie) showed me his rear lip and how sexy it makes it look

*edit* There ya go, just found this for you: 2003-2005 Accord Coupe Full OEM STYLE Lip Kit - BiN $275.00 + $145.00 S/H - that is the cheapest full kit I've ever seen.

If budget's tight, you could just do the front, but honestly in the long run it'd be worth it to save up and do the whole kit - ends up being a lot less in the end 2003-2005 Accord Coupe OEM STYLE Front Lip BiN $125.00 + $100.00 S/H
P.S. Ask away bud, it's your thread lol

Soo I see your point with the whole lip kit and all, but then having it painted would cost about an extra $300 at least so were talking $600 for the kit and having it painted.

Which should be a priority, lowering the car (springs+camber) or painted lip kit?

Mods aren't cheap my friend, you gotta pay to play unfortunately. $600 total is an awesome deal in my opinion, I spent close to a grand for my OEM HFP spoilers + paint

The route you go in modding is your own choice - no one can really tell you which way to go because it's your car and your happiness. Personally, though, I got my HFP kit done first, then lowered on coilovers w/ camber kit, then did wheels.

I'm thinking I might just get the lip kit and not even worry about lowering the car. My boss at work right now said she stopped driving her audi in the winter because the ice/snow would build up on her tires and she wouldnt be able to turn much without room in the wheel-well (I'm assuming it was naturally lowered) Now she drives her Acura in the winter and has no problems. IDK if the audi being AWD affects anything compared to the FWD of the Acura.

Audi Quattro is designed to be driven in the snow. My old A6 kicked butt in the snow. Your boss does not know what she is talking about.

I'll try to find out what kind of Audi it was. But this is my concern for lowering the car. It's my only car so I'll always be driving it and I plan on having it for ten more years.

Use this as your focus.

The lip kit with quality paint will add aesthetic value now and in the future. But the lowering kit will put more stress and wear on parts under your car, not to mention the thousands of times you will have to worry over speedbumps and driveways.
So stick to mods that you clearly want (painted calipers). Don't act on the ones you are unsure about (like racing stripes).
Go for mods that separate your car from the rest.
As the relationship with your Accord matures, you will find less and less that you desire to add. Instead, you will love the reliability and peace of mind that comes from owning a 7th Gen and since you got a V6, the pleasure from driving will always be there.
Your car doesn't need much because you bought a nice car. Good work.

Quality advice. I actually abandoned the racing stripes idea as well as the red rims... I don't know what I was thinking I was just overwhelmed with the idea that I could do whatever I wanted with my FIRST CAR! Now I'm going for the more subtle changes like what I did with my license plate, red LEDs and soon the tint. I think the lip kit would top that off nicely. Time to save up

How's that? If I order sometime within the next year I don't think my dad will trust ebay. He might trust that site tho. (I don't have a credit card yet)
