I'm shopping for 2013 Honda Accord LX (CVT) 4dr Sedan - right now the best internet quote I've received is $21,169.

I'm located in Minneapolis, MN. Is this a reasonably competitive price?

I'm looking to get financing from my bank - is it worth it to try to negotiate a better rate from Honda? Anything to watch out for?

Going to see if I can get the processing waived because the other dealer was willing to do that too. Haven't signed papers yet, but I think I will be soon. Want to do one extended test drive.

I dunno....I think I can get a better deal. That's still only $1500 under invoice and that was without doing any bargaining really. It was too easy so I bet they will go lower. Got closer to 2k under invoice on my Odyssey and 2200 under invoice on my civic. That's my goal.

Like I said I still want to take a long test drive before I buy.

Wow, a lot of these prices people are getting are cheaper than what I see on the dealer websites here in Florida.

See my earlier post in here, #317, and see if you can get a better price.

And I see some people getting extended warranties, but a local dealer said they offer a LIFETIME powertrain warranty. So there must be catch if people are buying extended warranties?

Some dealerships do, like Weymouth, but most only list MSRP. One thing I noticed is several places had the MSRP and then a button saying "Click here for your I-Price or E-Price". You give them your email address and they send you their standard Email/Internet price.

It looks like a lot of dealers in my area are owned by the same company and I wonder if that will make it impossible to negotiate with different dealers.

Expand your search...go out 100 miles. Get a good price then call your local ones and tell them they need to match. They will.

Also use google maps to find clumps of competing dealers then use Edmunds to request quotes from them all at the same time.

Which dealership did you buy yours from? Do you have the saleman/manager's contact? I don't mind making a road trip back.

Darn my local dealership! The gave me a quote and told me to come in. I came in and they said they couldn't locate the car. They told me to pick any car on the lot for $1 over invoice. I was so pissed and left without a word.
I bought 2 new cars from them a few years ago and also referred a few friends to them. I guess they lost a good customer for life just because they lied.

Just paid 24,900 OTD for my White Sport Auto with extended 100k 8 year warranty included in the price OTD. I got the actual car for 21,700 before Tax, License, and warranty.

I got the warranty for cost, it only added 17 dollars to my monthly, so I said why not.

I got my deal through truecar.com

Lifetime powertrain useally means all maintenance service must be done by the dealer.
