Got some bigger pads on the way, going to try those on the car and if that fails then I'll let a body shop compound the surface for me... Got a quote today for $175

Why not take it to a detailing shop? or you still want to finish the rest yourself?

Got the body shop to buff out the bad stuff and I hit it with a blue pad and thanks to Glenn.. I used some Blackfire Total Polish and Seal and Blackfire Crystal Seal.

I'm extremely pleased with the results, and she looks brand new. It's not perfect, but she's pretty!

And who in the hell can tell me why there is POLLEN in JANUARY!? 81 degrees and freaking pollen down!

The pictures towards the end of the album are before I washed her and cleaned the engine.

Opinions? Comments?

I keep telling people, black aint that hard to take care of anymore with polymers......you just proved it!

Geeez...perfection from my view here....I'd be interested in what the body shop did to get it right, did they give it back to you with pretty much great gloss on it already?

That car shimmers...congrats - put another coat of CS on with next wash, you'll be more amazed...

When I picked her up I was on a break from class, but I'm gonna go back by there tomorrow and show the guy what she looks like now. It was pretty damn glossy when I picked it up, but of course the BF added so much depth.

I took an orange pad and some Megs 105/205 and got on my headlights. They look brand new now. I sealed them with the CS.

Edit: Also, you'd never know how amazing a leaf blower is at drying that thing! Never again will I have a water spot!

Haha, yeah I use the electric leaf blower every time I wash mine when I'm back home...works like a charm! But very well done on the paint correction!
