It looks like a tight fit where the leather goes down into the plastic console. Does it rub? Think it will wear over time?

It is a tight fit but that is what makes it look natural. It is snug so it won't slip out. It tucks in at the base with some extra inches in the front to account for lifting the release and not much at all extra in the back because that part does not get exposed. It looks like a little bit like a manual shift sleeve. It is a soft really decent quality leather piece in my opinion. It is a bit wrinkled but leather can be stretched with some gentle tugging. I just slipped in on in 5 minutes and was in rush so did not play too much with it. I had one on the 8th Generation and I found it held up very well. But then again I do not use the E Brake much so it was pretty much looking like the day I installed it when I traded it in. Overall I think it looks much better than the standard OEM brake release. Definitely worth it.

I saw that the seller also has the same leather cover with grey stitching and also white stitching.

Do you think the standard black stitching looks better or with grey or white stitching?
