Noticed multiple scratches on hood

at the dealership. What type of compensation do you think I can get out of them if I purchased it as is? Or should I just request they replace hood? Ty in advance

I'd say we need more info... are the surface swirl type scratches then no.. it happens...
Are they actual I can see the metal underneath or white primer scratches... that better be rectified

Depending how deep the scratches are, they can probably buff it off.

I'm confused...you do not own the car and want to use the scratches as a negotiation item?

If I was the sales manager (and was) I'd tell you to pound sand on a reduction in price, but thank you profusely for pointing it out. I'd then send it back to body shop on an internal repair order for correction/repair...

Lol, most dealers have a pdr that take care of issues like these. The 08 accord I bought had dent in the trunk I told them about it and they fixed it while I was signing the papers.

OP your out of line for wanting to ask for a new hood over something that could be fixed. I highly doubt that a dealer would sell a new car with a damage hood or other parts
