First thread - my first Accord

Hello all.

Last weekend I traded in my 2003 BMW 325i that had about 125k miles on it and was beginning to become a $ pit.

I had been car shopping for a little while and initially an Accord was not even a consideration. However, after test driving a used BMW 328i, Audi A4, and a few others I stumbled upon a 2011 Accord EX-L Navi V6 Coupe at a local dealership with only 8000 miles on it.

I went to look at it, test drove it, and loved it. My only complaint was that is was automatic with the paddle shifter/sport drive. There were no manual V-6's in my area and this was a deal I couldn't pass up. The car is certified pre-owned and I purchase the car for $22,500 ($18,500 with my trade which was in pretty rough shape). Absolute steal in my humble opinion. And I absolutely LOVE the color.

I am looking forward to modding the cars look with the help of all of the info on this forum. The car came tinted and with a rear lip spoiler.









I have seen a ton of awesome looking cars on here and I cannot wait to contribute.

I also test drove a BMW 3 something series before buying the Accord. Felt sporty, but I was turned off by the inevitable maintenance items.

Personally I'd leave the rims alone. Love all of the Accord trim level's rims. Upgrade the battery to group 24F, put an air intake on, UR chassis bracing. The last one is my favorite...tightens up the whole car.

Thanks I keep thinking something must be wrong with the car lol (clean carfox). For sh*ts and giggles I have searched within 500 miles and can't find anything close to the deal I got.
