7th Generation to 8th Generation

Hi New here,

I was looking around on Google and this forum but haven't come across any results. I'm looking to either buy a body kit or create one for my 2006 v6 coupe ex-l. I want to turn it into the 8th generation model. Lol I know this kinda sounds stupid but instead of buying a new 2012 model I wanted to know if it was possible to make mine look like one for half the price. Just wanna know if it can be done and where I can get the parts or anything on how to do it.

Thanks in advance

It is possible to make your 7th gen look like an 8th gen.

Step 1: Sell your 7th Gen
Step 2: Buy an 8th Gen
Step 3: Profit

It does sound stupid because it is stupid, hence why no one else has brought it up. You must be like 16 years old or something to be asking a question like that, right? With enough time and money you can make your 7th gen look like anything you want. Do what AccordLife said below and you'll be much happier. Welcome to DA.

I doubt you will ever find any kits to do this. It's just not a popular or a practical idea.

I'd say that I gave you pretty sound advice without being disrespectful.

I'd also say you acknowledged you were asking a less than intelligent question in your OP.

Additionally, nobody demeaned you, just the idea.

You also do not need to buy a 2012 to get an 8th gen.

Good luck.

Guys, calm down. OP is just asking something which he hasn't been able to find. It's a new idea, and it might turn out good if it works somehow.

OP, do you want the look of the front lip for an 8th gen or the front bumper of an 8th gen? You could try buying an 8th gen part and somehow mold it to fit your car. Nothing is impossible. You just have to have the motivation, time, money and support to make it work.

+1

If you have the resources do it it up! It was the same way when I made my double din mod. I had the time and money to do the project so I just did it.

All depends how much money are you willing to spend? I'm sure you can get this done if you spent enough money and time on it.

Maybe the OP should hook up with this guy who decided he wanted to turn his 8th gen into some kind of Accord Concept/Maxima-ish thing. lol.

Haha LOL. Funny your brought it up. This was the car which came to mind when I first read the OP. It just goes to show that with time and money, impossible is nothing. OP, if you are planned to do this, I would encourage you to and would love to see the final result!
