LX with 6-speed manual?

According to all the information I've found on the web, the 2013 Accord LX Sedan is available in a 6-speed manual. I went to two Honda dealerships near me this week and both told me that's not the case. I was clear with them that I wasn't asking if they had one on the lot but if it's even made and both told me 'no'.

Just checked online again and unless I'm a total idiot (perfectly possible ) and it is available with an MSRP of $21,680.

Sidenote: does anyone know if you can get the LX in a manual with the moonroof? I'd be if that was available. If not the LX, does the Sport Sedan? The Coupe isn't an option for me. Thanks!

The combo you want is not possible. No LX will get a factory sun/moonroof. The sport sedan also does not come with a moonroof -- EX and up.

And yes the LX's manual is a 6 speed.

The previous Gen 8 came with a 5-speed. Those salespeople mixed them up.

Chances are they haven't gotten any LX 6-speeds yet.

I've found that once I do a reasonable amount of research, I end up knowing more about the car than the salespeople at the dealerships. One guy kept saying "Oh really? Huh!" when I was discussing the finer points of the car. Not that I'm a genius, but he just didn't seem as interested as I was about the features. I guess that's OK, but it behooves them to not give bad info out, either.

I dont get it. When your spending 20k whats an extra 2k for the sports. I bought my gf a cvt sport for 22.7 and the sport manual Im looking at is at 21.8k. You get better interior, better rims, better tires, fogs,dual exhaust, more hp (4hp) lol , sports grill.Power seat* (notice singular). The colors are dual (black and grey) but Id take a sport 6m anyday over a lx. Plus they are going to be rare in the near future.

Elk Grove Honda has them just laying around. They aren't THAT rare.

Are we talking Sports or 6MTs? I was referring to the latter. If they have an abundance of manuals in stock, I'll go test drive one just because I can.

some of this salesmen are so clueless..I was in the market for a 6MT sport since the 9th gen first released..I called around too numerous dealers to seee when i could get one..I got so many different replies..Oh they wont be available til Jan..or they wont be avail til nov..and get this..that car doesnt come in manual..those dealers didnt get a second call from me..I literally stalked the 6MT cars..I noticed the first availble lx 6 speed was avail in the first week of nov at a dealer in new jersey..with that being said..I put a deposit on a 6MT sport on Nov 9th.at a dealer that had 4 incoming 6MT sports..I had the car by Dec 13th..the manuals are out there in abundance right now..if you get one..I would try to get it for 1K under invoice minimum at this point..which should be in the 19 grand and change area plus ttl..good luck..its a fun car
