I tried to do the plastidip today, but it did not go on smoothly, so I ripped it off. The ambient temperature was like 35-40 degrees so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Thats probably why. You should keep the spray can in warm water when not spraying or take it inside the house once you spray. If the can is cold it will pray all chunky. I recommend waiting till the weather is a little more warmer.

Also, the first coat make it very light.

Yeah thats exactly what happened to me. So if you do try again before you spray dip the can in warm water for maybe 5 minutes and spray and right after you spray go inside your house and leave it in the warm water until it is time to spray again... or just wait for summer...

Also, if you get over spray that doesnt come off just was WD40. Spray some on and leave it for maybe 10 seconds and wipe it off with a microfiber towel. It comes right off.

I am blacking my rear decals and front grille right now, just waiting for it to dry to put on another coat. I'll eventually get to the window trim and I am more than likely leaving the rims alone. I'll make a thread with some pictures hopefully before I leave for work today. Looks good however I do think the rims looks too dark, maybe its the photoshop making it appear that way but everything else looks great

So I painted the rims and trim blk yesterday. I used Jkahn's advice and kept the plastidip in hot water between coats and it worked like a charm (thanks btw). Car is extremely dirty cause of recent snow but I am going to post pics..I actually like it alot!
