Good job, B/L; you're $900 below me - - - and,IIRC, I was about 1200-1300 below dealer invoice/cost.....

Great car (sensitive, vague clutch) but great car!

..best..

.ez.
I think your price is very good. BigLou's price seems to be vague on the details---Where did you buy you car?
I got an internet quote of 24,100 for the same car from a dealer in Dallas. I paid 24,100 for a 2006 about about a year ago and I am want to get a 2007 6 speed SEDAN so I need to get a great buy to make it work!

How much was the JUST the car? Each state has different fees and taxes and therefore the out the door price doesn't tell us what we all want to know: the price of the CAR. BTW, Where did you buy your car? or even your home state would be helpful in determining the best price possible. For example I paid right at 24,000 for my car--with taxes that mushrooms to almost 26,000 with the 7% Arkansas sales tax.

Very good price though as I assume your taxes were well over a $1000.00.
But i don't really know!

I wonder what the new EX 5 speed sedans are going for in this "honda clearance" event. I'm thinking they still won't be as low as next month when the new model is right around the corner.

Okay this is used, but for $17,000 straight cash private-party deal, what do you think . . .

2004 LX V6 white sedan
16" OEM alloys from an EX coupe
splash guards
exhaust tips
trunk liner
17mm TL sway bar
The V6 has the cd-changer like the EX.

Less than 28k miles and pristine over/under, inside/outside.
No door dings, carpet stains, nada. Even still smells new.
Still under OEM warranty until October 2007.
Is this a good deal?

I might price a new one first. Some 2007 accord are going for $2-3000 UNDER invoice or in other terminology, $5-6000 under MSRP according to some buyers. Southern Cal and major metro areas seem to have the best prices.

Ok time to play: "HOW MUCH IS IT GONNA COST ME?"

Looking to buy either a 2007 i4 LX Sedan (or possibly an EX) for my mother. She wants a sunroof but I know she will settle for the LX if it will allow her to upgrade from her 1996 Chevy Caprice Classic V8. I am in New Haven, CT and looking to get $1,000 for trade in of the car (probably worth more as scrap metal, the thing is pure DEETROIT steel). Carsdirect put my cost at 18,110 for a LX model.

$17K is my cap, I can't go higher. Do you guys think I can get an LX, SE, or hopefully an EX for that price (including trade-in value)?

You'll do very well to get the LX.

n1accord, thanks but that wasn't exactly my question. I already own an '06 SE so I am with you on the value statement.

My question is, citing my previous post as reference, do you think I can get a LX, SE, or (fingers crossed) EX for $17k after trade-in? What do you all think? (Again, please see my previous post)

I paid $19,734 for my '07 EX sedan 5MT back in April before taxes and title. Actually, there were no taxes because Montana doesn't have sales tax. That was a cash deal with no trade. I'm not sure of the value of your trade, and I'd bet you're looking for an AT, but maybe that's helpful in some way.

Try Edmunds.com forums-Accord prices paid--Some on that board say you can get a SE well under 20,000. I think one went for 18,000.
