Home Depot Lower Lip Install

I was bored so i decided to do this lip thing finally.
Total was $25 for me because i got the heavy duty Scotch extreme hold tape x2 at $6 a piece.
You need the 9ft seal for the front bumper.
-Basically wash the area with soap and water then dry.
-Wipe down with alcohol and let dry.
-Decide where the "lip" would go and how far out you need it and what edge to use
-Apply tape to the area (this is easier than applying the tape to the lip first)
-Peel back and apply the "lip" straight as possible
-Cut the end clean with scissors and youre all done

We'll see how long it lasts, especially after i put my coilovers on and go lower

It looks good. However if you want it there to protect the lip it wont do much, specially after you go lower. I know because i had it, the minute you confront the first steep driveway and have no other choice but to scrape, it will rip. If you want something that will truly protect you front lip i recommend the 06-07 STI Lip/splitter.

Yes rain/sun (no snow yet) and its still on there strong as day one.
My intention was to protect the lip at first but i just like how it looks now. It will eventually rip if i take a steep driveway at which point i will go with the STi lip.
