Hey GT, so I receive my spoiler yesterday, and so the spoiler is only taped to the car along the whole outer edge of the spoiler correct? b/c the center of the spoiler is empty, if you understand what i'm saying. So, I was just wondering how strong the spoiler is secured on there? and I know this has been asked many times, but i'm just scared of it flying off and just wanted to make sure that it was secure.

It's attached to the outer lip of the spoiler, as well as where the screws go in on the middle of the spoiler. I haven't had a problem with it yet.

I just did this today, and i would be very careful with the application of the tape. I got 1 inch wide tape, so i had to trim off the excess. However, i obviously couldn't get the cut perfect so there ended up being a little extra tape which you can kinda see. But it still came out good.

The tape will eventually cure even more and seep out just a bit more than it is now. I don't mind it, cause nobody looking at the car goes up and inspects the spoiler quality.

Do you have any ideas of how to fix the extra tape? b/c mine is definitely more noticeable than yours from what i can tell from the pics of yours.

I didn't use the exact 3m VHB tape. I simply went to Home Depot, and got some 3m super duty mounting tape. The guy working there said it was ridiculously strong and it seem to be on there for good.
