Hankook v. Continental v. Kumho v. Goodyear v. Falken
I'm looking to order some 19" tires to go with my new Vertini Hennessey wheels. Any feedback or recommendations on the following tires:
1. Hankook Ventus V12 evo 110 2. Continental ExtremeContact DWS 3. Kumho Ecsta SPT 4. Goodyear Eagle GT 5. Falken FK 452 I know the Falkens tend to be board favorites, right? Thanks!

I just got some Continentals ProContact, went autocrossing in them, in rain, no body slide at all, and that taking corners at like 60mph.

I have the Kumho Ecsta SPT on my car, I had them installed in May of this year and I just changed over to my winter tires. Overall I think they are good tires for the money, they stick to the ground well and there was minimal tire wear from one summer of driving.
I was going to get the 452's but i decided to save the money and get the SPT's BTW here are a couple of reviews on tire rack: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...lay.jsp?ttid=4 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...ay.jsp?ttid=97

I have Eagle GT's on my car and I have to say they are one of the nicest sets of tires I have ever owned! I have almost 30k on them and I still have quite a bit of tread left!

Ivyesq1906, drove on Continental Pro Contact for over 7 years as they were original equipment tire on my former BMW, replaced them at 30,000 miles (Florida roads have Coral in asphalt which tears up tires quickly). I liked those Continental tires, they corner well. Regards
Richard

Gah, all my tire experience is with one level up on the performance scale. I'm a fan of the R-S2/R-S3, the Azenis RT-615, and the Ecsta XS.

You've got a mix of summer and all season tires... Can't really recommend anything without knowing what you're looking for? What's important to you?

All season or summer works for me because we don't buy winter tires where I live. I've found the best deal on the Hankooks so I may go with those.

Have you checked out these? http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/extensa-hp
Toyo makes some really good tires. I am looking at these for my 8G over the Versado.. which I have on my 6G and love-- very quite tire.. I1 ![]() P.S. Nobody really talks about these because Tire Rack does not sell Toyo..

They were cool at first but had to have them balanced alot and they wore out in 13 months, ended up going back to Yokohamas for $130 more, this was on my 99 Accord v4. The Kat at WheelWorks thought they wore out pretty quickly too, he also had the same ride as me just in green. I just put on some Yokohamas on my 08 v6 and these tires are the ISH.
