I was able to hook up ebay fogs just fine. I hooked em up oem style and everything worked. I did one trick for the engine bay fuse box. It had 3 wires connected: wht, red, and red/blue wire. I hooked up the red/blue wire to the + battery terminal on the fuse box, left the wht wire alone(in other words wrapped it with tape so its not used), and hooked up the red wire to an open slot in my fuse box in the drivers side cabin fuse box and put in a 15amp fuse. Now my fogs turn on without needing the headlights on. They also turn off when the car is off. Also switch still works. Love the mod and even did it for a friends accord as well.

So just out of curiousity, does the aftermarket harness have to be fished through the firewall? Or does one end hook up to the interior OEM plug that feeds through already, and you just plug the other one into the oem plug that is already in the engine bay?

Thanks

Do you have a diagram of how you did it.
I rewired mine but it was a Pain ** it took me forever to figure-out how it was supposed to be wired.
I basically connected straight from the battery and split the wires more than twice and connect them to the relay and the inside switch ( by the way that is a cheap looking switch, is not even a month since I installed this and is already pealing off)
but one thing that is good about the aftermarket foglights is that they illuminate whiter and better

WHAT IF I were able to get w/ the manufacturers of the fogs and have a oem style harness replicated for them?
[I have no affiliation w/ either the ebay sellers or the manufacturers, but I do have some experience with International trade.]

Recognizing it wouldnt be exactly the same, but if we could get a REAL plug and play, that would be pretty awesome. You think it might be worth my time?
I think this is what most people do after they realize how shitty the ebay harness is.
