I have a buzz

Quick back ground, I have an 04 LX sedan, 2.4l, 5MT with ~133k miles. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that as I start off in first gear, I hear a buzz. I am having a hard time determining exactly where it's coming from, but if I had to guess I would say it is either under the driver seat area or under the dash. I initially thought exhaust as I know Honda's in general atleast used to have a buzzing problem and offered exhaust buzz kits, but I am not toatally convinced that my issue is exhaust related.

Driving around a little last night, I noticed it's not just at starting from a stop, but it occurred as rpms increased and was most noticable at about 1200 or 1300 rpms. In any gear if I coasted down to 1.2 or 1.3k I hear it in any gear. I plan to get under the car today to see if there is anything obviouslly loose, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue or if anyone had any ideas where to start looking. Could this be motor or tranny mount related?

Thanks for your help.

does it happen from 1200-1300rpm ALL the time or only when the car is warm?

At the mileage, age of the car, and location you are at, it's possible one of the heatshield attachment/bolt point maybe causing this.

Unless you are sure it comes from inside of the car, then disregard above.
