Neon Lights under the dash & seat

Here's my 6 yrs old neon lights still ok ..its in my dodge neon before.. my sister own this now and my sister dont want it....the neon lights been on my garage 6yrs....i saw this morning and i think its time to put it on my accord...

(0) No Switch
(2) 10" Neon Lights
(2) 6x9" Neon Lights
(1) 15 " Neon Lights

I tap my wire to dome lights -NEGATIVE(pink wire) only and the 12v i tap to fuse box ,i use tap fuse....if i close or open the doors the lights turn on and off even i use the remote unlock/lock....

I run the wire to the side pillar and hide it to make clean look no wire sticking out...

Here the final install

Hey, where did you get your LEDs? I'm trying to do that tomorrow, but I need to go get my supplies first. Do you know if Fry's sells it or not? I'm on their website, and they have some LEDs but I don't know if it will work for under teh drivers seat. That's where I want it. [:

umm, sorry. ahha, can u rephrase what you typed there?

do you know which specific LEDs? I am looking on walmart, and I don't know which ones are for cars and which ones aren't.

Are the ones that are like bulbs suitable? Or the... ones that are boxed in?

Thanks A Lot.

You go to walmart literally, and in the auto section they will have LEDs. I can never find half of the inventory on walmart's website, but when I go there in person I see it. lol

You will see the different lengths they carry for the LED neon tubes. Whether it be 6x10 or whatever. <<

I know what he's talking about..*always in the auto section*

hey bro
i have a question
when u're cutting into existing wires like this,
do you have to worry about matching the size of the wires,
and what about them fuses? needa change that too...?

and...dang man it looks like a lot of work hiding those wires@"@
and i bet the wires that come with the neon tubes arent long enough for that sort of routing.

What is that thing about...???

I saw you talking about LEDs too.
would you recommend LED or neon better?

LED sounds better to me because it probably consumes less power and has a longer life
neon...I simply dont know anything about them LOL

Also, where did you get power for those lights in your trunk?? Going all the way up to the cabin fuse?@"@

I'm thinking about getting some lights for the front and back "leg room" and also for the trunk...
and I want the ones at "leg room" turn on when headlight and/or dome light is on (you guys think it's possible? or is it getting too much attention from the cops...? lol)
and the ones at the trunk would only be on when I pop the trunk...
got any suggestions?

i did is if u open/close ur doors the neon lights on/off...even ur remote unlock/lock the neon lights on/off...if u want to turn on/off u need switch(option) too...i dont put switch...the trunk i tap the wire 12v and ground..just take ur light from ur trunk and tap ur wire...

i think LED is more better than neon lights...

yeah i can picture how your neon tubes turn on
but i mean, is it possible for me to make it so that the tubes would be on when the parking light is on AND/OR when dome light is on...?

and for the trunk, do you mean that you tapped the + AND - to the trunk light's + and -?
